Space Clearing is simply a method of harmonizing the energies in a home or business, to make it feel good, balanced and in a healthy state of flow. It uplifts the energy in the space.

The methods of space clearing are ancient and it has been practiced in every native culture around the world since the beginning of time.

Everything is energy. All life is energy and we are immersed in an ocean of energy. The energy that is around us is constantly flowing and moving. We are in constant communication with the invisible world around us and we are far more affected than we realize by the subtle vibrations of the people we live and work with and the environment around us.

Your home is comprised of a multitude of overlapping energy fields. In addition of physical realm of your home, there are emotional, spiritual and etheric energies constantly moving within the house.

These energy fields are affected not only by the materials your home and the objects inside are made of, but all the feelings and thoughts of the current and past inhabitants. Repetitive patterns get deeply imprinted, as do moods and atmospheres. Any events accompanied by strong emotions or trauma are recorded more intensely.

Permeating spiritual energy fields generated by the trees, the earth and the landscape around the home affects the energy fields of the house.

Ley lines (naturally formed electrical currents that courses through the crust of the earth along channels or lines) also affects the energy of the house, as the Electro-magnetic fields (EMFs) caused by the electrical appliances and electronic devices and resources in the home.

You are not separate from your home. Your home is not just an extension of your thoughts and feeling, but in a larger sense your house is you. You are no less your home than you are your body. Both are outer manifestations of your inner energy fields.

A house mirrors your inner state, your consciousness, same as your body. Personal consciousness can be shifted by shifting energy in the home.

Clear Out Your Chakras and Realign Them With the Universe

Many of us have spent years trying to find solutions to help us feel better. For some it is pills or years of therapy. Or maybe we have tried non-traditional approaches like meditation or working with spiritual powers beyond ourselves. Still, sometime our negative thoughts keep coming back. We cannot seem to “make” them go away.

Personally, I have also tried many different things. I noticed that in recent months, I gradually seem to have come to a place of peace and of relative success. I was not exactly sure what it was that changed, but I have a feeling it was a combination of things (spoiler alert: hypnotherapy, regular meditation and working with higher guidance). But I have noticed that my old, worn-out worries are just not really there as much anymore. It’s almost like they have almost disappeared.

If this is so, and if this seems to be working for me, then how can others experience this as well? Why then are so many people still suffering? If only they knew that life does not need to be so hard. Why are some still choosing to live inside their mental prisons?

But not everyone is aware of this fact that there is a mental prison in the first place. There is a paradox at play – you cannot fix what you do not know is broken. To awaken to this fact takes some quieting of the mind and connecting with Divine Source energy, with God, or with your true self, which is all of the above.

So many of us just accept that our way of life is just “how it is.” That we are meant to be addicted to smartphones, stressed, depressed and medicated. That we are meant to work 60 hours a week and go out drinking on the weekends or binge-watch TV shows just to cope with the pain of living this way. That we are meant to accept the rules and limitations imposed by our society.

Sometimes, though, it gets too much. Somebody gets terminally sick, has a nervous breakdown, loses their job or has some kind of other “wake-up call” that things are not alright. That it’s not normal to live like this.

I could go on about the ills of our society, and why I believe that things are like this, but ultimately my goal is to help you, and to help us humans free ourselves from our own minds.

Simply, the goal is, I believe, to raise our vibration. I know that many of you have heard that before, and maybe you are wondering just what that means. In my view, “raising our vibration” means that we are living in a state of love for our fellow humans, that we feel hope, compassion and kindness first toward ourselves and toward all sentient beings, including the Earth itself (herself).

Sometimes it’s hard to do this, though. Many of us have experienced unimaginable trauma, and some of us have just experienced little traumas over our life that has added up into a shell we have erected to protect ourselves. But eventually, we start to realize that the shell is cracking and falling apart, and that we need a new solution.

And then what sometimes happens is fear. Fear of what it means to let go of this protective outer shell, fear of letting a part of ourselves go, fear of trusting in a power higher and more loving than ourselves. Voices and opinions of what we have heard from parents, teachers, the media and even friends swirl in our heads, often reinforcing our worst fears. And then we get paralyzed. Some of us know this is not a way to live, but we cannot find a way out of our mental slavery. And if you are sensitive and empathic, then you are even more at risk of being negatively affected by these low-vibration influences around you. And this can lead to darkness, to depression, to drug addiction, and sometimes to suicide.

I have seen this happen to people around me, and it breaks my heart. If only they knew that there is a better way, that many of the “solutions” in the traditional Western medicine can completely debilitate and numb people, especially children. Is this what we want? We have been trained to believe that if we just take a pill for something, that it will make everything all better. We have been taught that there is a “quick-fix solution” for everything. But many do not realize is that with all of these prescriptions, we are just masking the real problem, which is still there deep down until it is confronted.

Then there’s our smartphone and internet addictions. Last year, after returning to the U.S. from a trip abroad, I was amazed when going through customs that almost every single person had their head buried in their phones. I am not sure if we realize what this addiction is doing to us, to our brains, to our emotional wellbeing, to our sanity and to our health. It takes time for the effects of smartphone addictions to cumulate, but if we are not careful, we are at risk of becoming a nation of automotons. People running large social media companies and designing smartphones and video games design these to be as addictive as possible. Every time we get a “Iike” for something, or a “follow,” we get a rush of dopamine. And then we go back for more, again and again. It’s time to break ourselves free from this cycle of dysfunction.

Clearly, it is still a battle to fight this wave of social programming that is happening to us. However, there is good news in all of this, I believe. It has gotten to the point of being almost as bad as it can be. There is a backlash against this, a movement to get back to the Earth, to live more simply, to become more self-sufficient and to unplug from the programming.

For me, I try to do all of these things, and also have found three habits to be essential to my own soul growth, awakening and maintaining a sense of clarity, peace and freedom. The following suggestions I hope will help you in kind:

1. Create space to rest your mind. Become aware of your negative thought patterns by training yourself to become the observer of your experience. And this is best done by a daily practice of meditation, even if just for 5 minutes to start. (And consistent too.. you wouldn’t stop brushing your teeth after noticing they were clean after a few days of brushing, right? Same goes for keeping our minds “clean!”)

2. Tap into a source of pure love higher than yourself. This can be God, or angels, Jesus another Ascended Master, or spirit guides, or simply just light. But this is what will keep us going… finding our higher selves in our hearts, the seat of our souls. Imagine a ball of light growing in your heart every day, and imagine that this light is spreading through your body. Send this light as a form of healing out to the world. This is raising your vibration.

3. Work on your stuff. Dig into your fears. Excavate your limiting beliefs. Uncover your self-defeating thoughts. Just identifying the negative Ego is the first step. Then you have a choice whether or not to let it run your life anymore. Meditation trains your mind (and it takes time!) to let go of negative thinking and beliefs. But often some of these beliefs are so deeply entrenched (since childhood) that it might be necessary to re-program the subconscious mind with affirmations and positive thoughts. Modalities like hypnotherapy or neuro-linguistic programming can transform your subconscious thoughts completely.

For me, this “recipe” of three approaches has been key. Other important pieces are getting outside in nature, finding joy and having fun, helping others in need and being with community and friends. And just being gentle with yourself. It’s really actually kind of simple, if you think about it. It’s just a matter of devoting the time and effort to re-training your mind, and creating a life that will free you. It’s not supposed to be this hard. Life is supposed to be filled with joy. And if it’s not, then it’s time to make a change. You don’t have to take my word for it, though. Try committing wholeheartedly to doing the above three things for even just 30 days and see if you don’t notice a major shift in your life.

We are at the point where it feels like this isn’t really a choice anymore. It’s an imperative. It’s time to live the lives we deserve to live. We don’t have time to waste any longer. We have suffered for too long, and our suffering has led to us causing the suffering of others, including animals and our planet. The old ways of protesting and fighting things are not working anymore. The only way we can survive this time is if we change our mindset and shift our consciousness at the core. By connecting with our spirit, with the light within and around us all… this will be what saves us.

The thyroid is essential to some of the body’s most critical processes, including the development of the nervous and skeletal systems.For the thyroid to function normally, it must receive the right nutrition, and that means getting enough selenium. Selenium is an essential mineral and being deficient can lead to serious health problems such as Keshan disease, myxoedematous cretinism, Graves’ disease, and even thyroid destruction.

Although the body requires selenium, it does not produce selenium and you must get it through your diet. For most people, this isn’t a problem since many common foods are a good source of selenium. Additionally, selenium is available as a nutritional supplement.

Regardless of the source, selenium is a critical nutrient for the body and nowhere is this more evident than the thyroid. In fact, the thyroid has more selenium content per gram than any other organ. It’s also home to certain proteins called selenoproteins which contain selenium-based amino acids. Before I discuss why this is so important to thyroid health, let’s first understand exactly what the thyroid does.

What Is a Thyroid?

Your thyroid is part of your endocrine system and one of the most crucial glands in your body. Located at the base of your throat, the thyroid produces the hormones that play a major role in your body’s growth, maturation, and metabolic processes.

The thyroid hormones produced by the thyroid are triiodothyronine (T3), tetraiodothyronine (T4), and calcitonin.  T3 and T4 are critical for a normal metabolism. T4 also supports normal brain function, while calcitonin promotes normal bone growth.

How to Support Thyroid Health

There are a few simple steps you can take to support your thyroid. It is imperative that you minimize your stress levels. Stress is actually a hormone response that may negatively impact thyroid function.Exercise is a natural and extremely effective way to combat stress. Exercise can also help stimulate the secretion of thyroid hormones.

Getting enough sleep also helps support a healthy thyroid. Thyroid hormones can directly impact sleep quality. Avoiding toxins like BPA, fluoride, and pesticides is also a smart strategy as they can have a detrimental effect on the thyroid.

Following a balanced diet is one of the easiest ways to support your thyroid. Eat selenium-rich foods, as well as iodine-rich foods, as both are necessary for the synthesis of thyroid hormones. While you’re at it, don’t forget about vitamin A, which also helps support normal thyroid health. When considering your diet, incorporate gluten-free grains since gluten has been associated with autoimmune thyroid diseases.

What Selenium Does for the Thyroid

The importance of selenium for your thyroid cannot be overstated. Most people know that iodine is critical to thyroid health. Selenium is less famous but equally important. Along with iodine and vitamin A, selenium helps remove thyroid-harming substances and supports normal thyroid structure.

Thyroid hormone metabolism is impaired without selenium because iodine-based enzymes, called iodothyronine deiodinases, cannot be synthesized. Iodothyronine deiodinases exist in several forms and are not yet fully understood, but do seem to play a role in preventing hypothyroidism. These enzymes are essential for the activation of thyroid hormones. So, while iodine tends to get most of the credit for thyroid health, it cannot actually carry out its function without help from selenium.

Your body does not produce its own selenium. All selenium must be obtained through food or supplements. Once ingested, the element is broken down into enzymes called selenoproteins. These enzymes exist in many forms, but two of the best understood are glutathione peroxidase (GPx) and thioredoxin reductase(TRx). The GPx and TRx enzymes promote antioxidant abilities on a cellular level. TRx also aids in cell growth and helps process dehydroascorbic acid into vitamin C. None of these vital enzymes could exist without selenium. Selenium has also been shown to combat several thyroid-debilitating conditions.

How the Thyroid Relies on Selenium to Ward Off Disease

Common thyroid maladies can be caused by low selenium intake, including Hashimoto’s thyroiditis.With this condition, the thyroid first becomes inflamed and secretes excessive amounts of hormones. Then, over time, it starts producing far less than it needs.

Conditions like thyroiditis can lead to an imbalance of hormones and that can be the start of major disruptions in the body’s normal processes. Hypothyroidism, which is one such potential consequence, is a condition in which the thyroid fails to provide a sufficient level of thyroid hormones. The outcome can be serious and include abnormal heartbeat, low body temperature, and nervous system disorders. It can even disrupt the body’s ability to metabolize proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. What can contribute to hypothyroidism? You guessed it, selenium deficiency.

Role of Selenium in Nutrition

If thyroid health is important to you, you cannot overlook the importance of selenium. The body is made up of many parts that work together. Each part must be fueled with essential nutrients like selenium. In addition to supporting thyroid health, selenium also plays a role in combating free radicals.
