1) 5 NATURAL VIBRATIONAL REMEDIES

What is Vibrational Medicine?


Vibrational medicine is a term used to describe a wide variety of living remedies. Vibrational medicine incorporates the use of chi energies within living organisms such as plants, gemstones and crystals, water, sunlight, and even the foods we eat. Almost everything we touch and see around us has a living pulse inside of it. We need look no further than the planet we live on to take advantage of its natural vibrational remedies to help us balance the chi energies within our own bodies.


1. Healing with Crystals and Gemstones


A shiny rock plucked from the dirt is one of the first treasures a small child will discover on his own. Rocks, a natural resource of earth, can be found almost anywhere. We pave our streets with gravel, our beach sands are made from the smallest crystals. We adorn ourselves with gold rings and silver bracelets that are set with colorful gemstones. Whether or not you realize it, within each gemstone and crystal is housed healing properties. Ever wonder why you are attracted to a particular stone and not another? Nature finds a way to get the stones that carry the healing and spiritual properties that are most needed into our hands.


2. Healing with Light and Colors


Color is simply a form of visible light, of electromagnetic energy. All the primary colors reflected in the rainbow carry their own unique healing properties. The sun alone is a wonderful healer! Just imagine what life would be like without sunshine. It has been proven that lack of sunlight contributes to depression for some people. Some of the tools used in color therapy are gemstones, candles, wands, prisms, colored fabrics, bath treatments, and colored eye wear. Laser therapy is a field of medicine that is being developed more and more in the health care community.


3. Healing with Plants and Herbs


All plants (trees, flowers, and even our garden grown foods) have nutritional and/or medicinal properties. The foods we eat have a vibrational energy within them along with their nutritional values. The rite of blessing our food before we eat originated from pagan roots. Thankfulness is offered for the sacrifice the plants give when it is harvested. The Diva Kingdom consists of aromatic herbs used in essential oils and flower essences. Each "Diva" (flower or plant) carries its own unique talent that can be used as a remedy. For example, cherry plum brings mental calmness, clematis is a grounding essence, holly teaches love and acceptance, and so on.


4. Healing with the Elements


Our world is comprised four basic elements. These are air, earth, fire, and water. Understanding what each element represents helps us evaluate where our individual strengths and weaknesses are. Healers have found that focusing on the elements and the vibrational energies associated with each of them is helpful when seeking what course of treatments would best address our problems. Approximately seventy percent of the earth's surface consists of water. This fact alone make water an element awarded our utmost respect. Besides that, our bodies require us to drink water for our basic survival.


5. Healing with Sound and Music


Sound and musical tones are vibrational healers. Chanting OM is the most basic, primal sound and the origin of all sounds. Without our voices and ears, communication would be limited. Some sounds are not pleasant to listen to (fingernail on the chalkboard, a screeching train wheel, etc.) but many sounds are soothing. Nature offers some of the most healing vibrational tones (babbling brooks, whale songs, wind in the trees, and so on). Sound therapists incorporate a variety of sound tools into their work (drums, tuning forks, singing bowls, and others).

2) G-BOMBS: THE 6 HEALTHIEST FOODS ON THE PLANET YOU SHOULD BE EATING TO PREVENT DISEASE AND TRIVE

These are the foods that you should eat every day, making up a significant proportion of your diet.They are extremely effective at preventing chronic disease, including cancer, and promoting health and longevity.


What Are GBOMBS?


GBOMBS — G Is for Greens


Raw leafy greens contain only about 100 calories per pound, and are packed with nutrients. Leafy greens contain substances that protect blood vessels, and are associated with reduced risk of diabetes.


Greens are an excellent tool for weight loss, as they can be consumed in virtually unlimited quantities.


Leafy greens are also the most nutrient-dense of all foods, but, unfortunately are only consumed in minuscule amounts in a typical American diet. We should follow the example of our closest living relatives — chimpanzees and gorillas — who consume tens of pounds of green leaves every day.


The majority of calories in green vegetables, including leafy greens, come from protein. And this plant protein is packaged with beneficial phytochemicals. Green vegetables are also rich in folate (the natural form of folic acid), calcium, and contain small amounts of omega-3 fatty acids.


Leafy greens are also rich in antioxidant pigments called carotenoids, specifically lutein and zeaxanthin, which are the carotenoids known to promote healthy vision. Also, several leafy greens (such as kale) and other green vegetables (such as bok choy, broccoli, and brussel sprouts) belong to the cruciferous family of vegetables.


All vegetables contain protective micronutrients and phytochemicals, but cruciferous vegetables have a unique chemical composition — they contain glucosinolates, and when their cell walls are broken by blending, chopping or chewing, a chemical reaction converts glucosinolates to isothiocyanates (ITCs) — compounds with a variety of potent anti-cancer effects.


Because different ITCs can work in different locations in the cell and on different molecules, they can have combined additive effects, working synergistically to remove carcinogens, reduce inflammation, neutralize oxidative stress, inhibit angiogenesis (the process by which tumors acquire a blood supply), and kill cancer cells.


GBOMBS — B Is for Beans


Beans (and other legumes as well) are a powerhouse of superior nutrition, and the most nutrient-dense carbohydrate source.


Beans act as an anti-diabetes and weight-loss food because they are digested slowly, having a stabilizing effect on blood sugar, which promotes satiety and helps to prevent food cravings. Plus they contain soluble fiber, which lowers cholesterol levels.


Beans are unique foods because of their very high levels of fiber and resistant starch, carbohydrates that are not broken down by digestive enzymes. Fiber and resistant starch not only reduce the total number of calories absorbed from beans, but are also fermented by intestinal bacteria into fatty acids that help to prevent colon cancer.


Eating beans, peas or lentils at least twice a week has been found to decrease colon cancer risk by 50%.  Legume intake also provides significant protection against oral, larynx, pharynx, stomach, and kidney cancers.


GBOMBS — O Is for Onions


Onions, along with leeks, garlic, chives, shallots, and scallions, make up the Allium family of vegetables. This family has beneficial effects on the cardiovascular and immune systems, as well as anti-diabetic and anti-cancer effects.


Allium vegetables are known for their characteristic organosulfur compounds, similar to the ITCs in cruciferous vegetables, organosulfur compounds are released when onions are chopped, crushed, or chewed.


Epidemiological studies have found that increased consumption of Allium vegetables is associated with lower risk of gastric and prostate cancers. These compounds prevent the development of cancers by detoxifying carcinogens, halting cancer cell growth, and blocking angiogenesis.


Onions also contain high concentrations of health-promoting flavonoid antioxidants, predominantly quercetin, and red onions also contain at least 25 different anthocyanins. Quercetin slows tumor development, suppresses growth and proliferation and induces cell death in colon cancer cells. Flavonoids also have anti-inflammatory effects that may contribute to cancer prevention.


GBOMBS — M Is for Mushrooms


Consuming mushrooms regularly is associated with decreased risk of breast, stomach, and colorectal cancers.


In one recent Chinese study, women who ate at least 10 grams of fresh mushrooms each day (about one mushroom per day) had a 64% decreased risk of breast cancer. Even more dramatic protection was gained by women who ate 10 grams of mushrooms and drank green tea daily — an 89% decrease in risk for premenopausal women, and 82% for postmenopausal women, respectively.


White, cremini, Portobello, oyster, shiitake, maitake, and reishi mushrooms all have anti-cancer properties — some are anti- inflammatory, stimulate the immune system, prevent DNA damage, slow cancer cell growth, cause programmed cancer cell death, and inhibit angiogenesis.


In addition to these properties, mushrooms are unique in that they contain aromatase inhibitors — compounds that can block the production of estrogen. These compounds are thought to be largely responsible for the preventive effects of mushrooms against breast cancer. In fact, there are aromatase-inhibiting drugs on the market that are used to treat breast cancer.


Regular consumption of dietary aromatase inhibitors is an excellent strategy for prevention, and it turns out that even the most commonly eaten mushrooms (white, crimini, and Portobello) have a high anti-aromatase activity.


Keep in mind that mushrooms should only be eaten cooked: several raw culinary mushrooms contain a potentially carcinogenic substance called agaritine, and cooking mushrooms significantly reduces their agaritine content.


GBOMBS — B Is for Berries


Blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries are true superfoods.


Naturally sweet and juicy, berries are low in sugar and high in nutrients. They are among the best foods you can eat. Their vibrant colors mean that they are full of antioxidants, including flavonoids, and antioxidant vitamins. Berries are some of the highest antioxidant foods in existence.


Berries’ plentiful antioxidant content confers both cardio-protective and anti-cancer effects, such as reducing blood pressure, reducing inflammation, preventing DNA damage, inhibiting tumor angiogenesis, and stimulating of the body’s own antioxidant enzymes. Berry consumption has been linked to reduced risk of diabetes, cancers, and cognitive decline.


Berries are an excellent food for the brain — berry consumption improves both motor coordination and memory.


GBOMBS — S Is for Seeds


Seeds and nuts contain healthy fats and are rich in a spectrum of micronutrients, including phytosterols, minerals, and antioxidants.


Countless studies have demonstrated the cardiovascular benefits of nuts. In addition, nuts in the diet aid in weight maintenance and diabetes prevention. The nutritional profiles of seeds are similar to nuts when it comes to healthy fats, minerals, and antioxidants, but seeds are also abundant in trace minerals, higher in protein than nuts. And each kind of seed is nutritionally unique.


Flax, chia, and hemp seeds are extremely rich sources of omega-3 fats. In addition to the omega-3s, flaxseeds are rich in fiber and lignans.


Flaxseed consumption protects against heart disease by a number of different mechanisms. And lignans, which are present in both flaxseeds and sesame seeds, have anti-cancer effects.


Sunflower seeds are especially rich in protein and minerals. Pumpkin seeds are rich in iron and calcium and are a good source of zinc.


Sesame seeds have the greatest amount of calcium of any food in the world, and provide abundant amounts of vitamin E. Also, black sesame seeds are extremely rich in antioxidants.

3) NAVEL MEDITATION

Navel meditation can be done by a beginner as you focus your breath on your belly and your breathing.


Journeys of lifelong evolution often begin simply. No matter how complex the goal or desire we have nurtured in our souls, the first steps we take are nearly always basic and uncomplicated. Navel meditation, a creation of the Taoist tradition and the oldest form of meditation recognized in China and India, is a simple practice suitable for those experienced in the art of meditation, yet it is also a wonderful introductory meditation for novices. It utilizes the natural rhythms of the breath and the regular movement of the abdomen as a means to focus awareness and rid oneself of extraneous thoughts. As you concentrate on the breath, the chaos within reveals itself, allowing you to gently train your mind to accept stillness as its natural state.


To begin, assume a comfortable and natural seated position--either cross-legged on a cushion on the floor or on a chair with your legs facing forward. Maintaining an upright, balanced posture will ensure that you are physically centered and prevent fatigue. Close your eyes and relax your body gradually, starting at the toes and ending at the crown of the head. Take a moment to note any physical sensations you are feeling, such as the hardness of the floor under your legs or the weight of a piece of jewelry. When you are relaxed, breathe through the nose at your natural pace. With each inhalation, draw air deep into the abdomen, allowing the area surrounding your navel to rise and fall. Gradually focus your attention on the sensations caused by the inhalation and exhalation of breath. Feel the air flowing in and out of the nostrils as well as the expansion and contraction of the abdomen. If you find it difficult to concentrate on both sensations, concentrate only on the movement of the navel area.


As you endeavor to commune with the breath, you may notice that your mind strays. When this occurs, do not attach any significance to your thoughts. Simply bring your attention back to the flow of air into and out of your body and the rise and fall of your navel. Eventually, the torrent of mental noise flooding your mind will slow to a trickle, and you will learn to control the current of your thoughts until you are no longer at the mercy of your reactions. The more you practice this meditation, daily if possible, the more you will be able to get back to this relaxed state easily throughout your day.
