1) BLACK AND WHITE AURA COLORS AND THEIR MEANING

BLACK – Color Meaning Explained


Black is probably easy to guess the meaning and is often used in folklore and literature for associations with negativity and being on the wrong path.


While not always of a negative nature black is associated in history with negative events for good reason.  Black is the color that contains all color – it is dense and is associated with capture and transformation.


Black usually indicates a person with an unforgiving nature.


These people need to clear the black from the aura before serious health related problems ensue.


Black is often associated to past life problems, unreleased negativity and anger and usually shows a great deal of stored emotional grief.


It is important to remember that black can be released and can be transformed.


WHITE – Aura Colors Their Meanings Explained


White also has significance and a base in folklore and literature.  White contains all color and because of this it also reflects all color.  Therefore it in essence reflects all color energy to wherever it is best used and needed for our physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.


White is the universal color of protection.


Seeing dense patches of white or a white outer layer of the aura signifies a person who knows and speaks only the truth.


It indicates a person of great health and purity and an individual with “angelic” qualities.


If you see flashes of bright white or sparkling dots and white sparks this means angels are with you and communicating.


Note: If there is ever a Dirty Grey White seen this color can be indicative of possible or potential illness.  This color needs to be cleared from the aura.

2) VITAMIN D3 FACTS

Vitamin D’s biggest role in your body is aiding in calcium absorption to keep your bones and teeth strong, but that’s not its only role. Your body also uses vitamin D to regulate cell growth, support immune functions, reduce inflammation and help muscles work. The vitamin comes in two forms, D2 and D3. The latter, also called cholecalciferol, is the more-common type found in many foods, as well as the form of vitamin D your body makes from the sun.


Comparing Types of Vitamin D


Both vitamin D2 and D3 are structurally very similar, although vitamin D3 is more efficient for maintaining skeletal strength. In high doses, vitamin D2, known as ergocalciferol, becomes less potent than the D3 counterpart. Typically vitamin D2 isn’t as effective as D3 for fracture prevention, notes the Linus Pauling Institute. Meeting your daily vitamin D needs by getting more D3 is more helpful for preventing bone loss and breaks.


D3 from Sunlight


Your body synthesizes vitamin D3 when you expose your skin to direct ultraviolet-B rays, or UVB rays, from the sun. Going outside during peak sunlight hours – between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. -- for five to 30 minutes a couple days a week, supplies your body with most of the vitamin D you need, the Office of Dietary Supplements reports. Using sunscreen, covering your skin with clothing and wearing hats inhibits some of your UVB exposure, though. Cloudy days can also reduce ultraviolet-B rays by as much as 50 percent, so sunlight isn’t always your best option. Too much sunlight isn’t going to lead to toxic levels of vitamin D3, but staying outside for an extended period of time with no sun protection puts you at risk for developing skin cancer.


Food Sources


Very few natural sources of vitamin D exist. Salmon, tuna, mackerel, sardines and cod liver oil are some of the richest sources of D3. You’ll even get a small amount from egg yolks and beef liver. Because only a handful of foods provide vitamin D, food manufacturers fortify many types of foods with the vitamin. Many kinds of fortified breakfast cereal, oatmeal, milk, cheese, orange juice and soy milk add some vitamin D to your diet in the form of D3. Some mushrooms have vitamin D, although it is in the form of D2.


Supplements


Most vitamin supplements have vitamin D in the form of D3. You’re not likely to get too much vitamin D from your diet, but you can overdose from supplements. You need 600 international units of vitamin D daily as an adult. Multivitamins usually offer 400 IUs per dose, while vitamin D supplements have between 400 to 2,000 IUs per dose. Never go above the tolerable upper intake level of 4,000 IUs per day when taking supplements, reports the Office of Dietary Supplements. Vitamin D toxicity can lead to rapid weight loss, an irregular heartbeat, excessive calcium in the blood and heart and kidney damage.

3) THE IMPORTANCE OF NAPPING


A short nap during the afternoon is common in many countries and can provide an energy boost and clearer senses.


As we focus on the many obligations we gladly undertake in order to create the lives we want, sleep is often the first activity that we sacrifice. We're compelled by both external and internal pressures to be productive during many of our waking hours. While this can lead to great feats of accomplishment, it also disrupts the body's natural cycles and leaves us craving rest.


Napping represents a pleasurable remedy to this widespread sleep deprivation. Though judged by many as a pastime of little children or the lazy, the need for a nap is a trait that all mammals share and an acceptable part of the day in many countries. It is also a free and effortless way to improve our health and lift our spirits. A nap is relaxing and can improve our mood, vision, reflexes, and memory.


Lack of sleep, whether ongoing or the result of a single night's wakefulness, puts stress on the body and mind. It can negatively impact your physical and mental health. At one time, napping was considered a natural part of life. In the past hundred years, however, electricity and modern conveniences have provided us with more time to engage in personal and professional activities.


Consequently there is now less time for sleep. A mere ten minutes of sleep in the middle of the day can leave you feeling more cheerful and alert. A half-hour long nap can sharpen your senses and refresh your energy reserves, and a shorter nap can even sustain you through a long day. Napping can help you make up for lost sleep and serves as a supplement to your usual sleep schedule. You may need to give yourself permission to nap by making naptime a part of your day.


Feelings of guilt about napping or being preoccupied with other activities can keep you awake when you are trying to take a nap. If you need help, surround yourself with soft pillows and blankets or soothing music. Try to take a nap at the same time each day and use an alarm clock to ensure that you don't fall into too deep a sleep. Learning to nap and enjoying its benefits can help you reclaim your natural right to nap. You nourish your being every time you take a nap.
